Tourist place for cheap Kobe beef. Went for the lunch menu and ordered two lunch sets (one with the cheapest beef, one with the next higher quality). The set comes with rice, salad and soup. We also ordered the beef sushi for 800 per piece. The steaks were both good, but not worth the money, imho. The more expensive one was a bit mealy. We preferred the cheaper one, which was more juicy and had more taste. Maybe it was due to the fact that the more expensive one was cut thinner that it was more dry. Both steaks had some chewy parts. Generally the taste of the beef was good, but I had way better wagyu than this. The interior of the place was a bit ugly. The restaurant seemed like a classic tourist place. Besides us there were Chinese and Korean guest and the waiters spoke good English. If you want a quick lunch without the need for reservation for less than 10k (for two), don’t hesitate. For a once in lifetime Kobe beef experience, I would go somewhere else.
